Peter Wood Achieves Level 3 Coaching Qualification
Congratulations to Peter Wood for completing his SRU Level 3 Coaching Qualifications. Peter has been a key figure at Boroughmuir Rugby for a number of years and the club want to recognise his achievement.
As a committed coach to Boroughmuir Rugby, Peter has trained and helped progress countless number of players throughout the grades. This achievement will enable him to progress further to reaching his goals and we are very happy we have such calibre of a coach with us.
Peter said:
“Over the last 5 years I have wanted to be able to work with a group of boys to ensure they fulfil their rugby potential to the maximum. To achieve that I believed that I needed to develop as a coach, stretch my own abilities and learn how to help that group. I foolishly applied for the level 3 course”.
Peter went on to say,
“Level 3 been long, hard work. My wife is testament to that. It's been immensely valuable for me and I have made even more friends in rugby, who wold have thought.. I have loved doing something I'm passionate about and hope I'm good enough for the immense talent that exists at Boroughmuir.”
Head Coach, Bruce Aitchison also commented on Peter Wood’s achievement.
“'I am delighted that Peter has achieved his Level 3 as I know how hard he works with the U18s and that he is motivated to learn”
