Well done to the Boroughmuir High School 12 man squad that on Friday won the Edinburgh Schools Sevens competition which was held at Royal High.
The team played some great sevens, scoring 166 points whilst conceding only 19. Showing patience and discipline we hadn’t displayed in previous tournaments we beat Musselburgh (33-5), Royal High (12-7), Gillespie’s (52-0), Trinity (24-0) and Currie (45-7).
Scorers were Gilligan (4 tries, 4 cons), Finlayson (5 tries, 1 con), Hamilton (4 tries), Keane (4 tries), Macari (2 tries, 4 cons), Mitchell (6 cons), Orr (2 tries, 1 con), Beckmann (2 tries) Sinclair (1 try, 1 con)
