It was not until the last few mins of the game, did Muir finally find a way through the resilient Hawks defence, allowing Iain Moody to score a try to bring us to within 1 point of Hawks.
Up stepped Chris Laidlaw to take the conversion, who slotted it like a seasoned professional.

Only a win would ensure Muir would avoid automatic relegation, which was later confirmed Edinburgh Accies would be that team this season.
This keeps Muir off the bottom of the table but not out of the woods just yet with the relegation battle. If we stay 2nd from bottom on the table after the last league game against Hawick, will result in a play off game against 2nd place in the National League 1.
The positives of this weekend outweigh the concern of the future by the determination that Muir showed right through out the game.
Interestingly Muir will visit Glasgow Hawks in two weeks for another big game in the semi final of the BT Cup on the 7th of March.
