Held on the eve of the Scotland Vs Italy game, The Italian Job is a long lunch event aimed at celebrating Italian and Scottish connections and the fantastico game of Rugby. We will be joined by rugby legend, David Campese and other legends of the game, as well as familiar faces from across the region.
Hosted within The President’s Suite of the world famous BT Murrayfield Stadium, guests will be invited to join us and enjoy a drinks reception followed by a delicious lunch and entertainment. David Campese will be taking the stage as our key note speaker, along with Scott Glynn and others.
David and Scott, who are both renowned for their wit and charm, have worked together many times before and we are assured of a great afternoon.
The Italian Job is a collaboration between the Bill McLaren Foundation and Boroughmuir Rugby and Sports Club.
As a sponsor you will have a unique opportunity to play a key role in a high profile event, whilst also supporting both charities.
The Bill McLaren Foundation was set up in March 2010 to raise funds to support the development of rugby and its values and also to recognise the contribution Bill McLaren made to rugby through education and the development of an interpretative
centre including Bill’s extensive archive including his big sheets.
Established in 1919, Boroughmuir Rugby is one of Scotland’s oldest clubs. It is a community sports club dedicated to contributing towards our community in and around Edinburgh. The club is involved with a number of different long term programmes with different Community Groups, from fund raising, providing volunteers for activities to helping promote charitable group’s exposure to the public.
