Youth Rugby News

01 October 2012

A good game versus Haddington at the weekend, where the U15s played with spirit and determination. They played to their strengths, tackled well, got over the gain line and scored nine good tries to six.

Special mention to Stephen playing for the first time since coming back from injury and setting up a lovely try for David, and to man of the match Jacob for his hat trick.

Of course, none of this would have been possible without Haddington being exemplary by loaning us temporary Muir players, who Muir would be very keen to keep! Special mention to Innes, Hamish, Calum, Harry, Euan and Alastair for rising and meeting the challenge and who ensured that rugby was the real winner.

Well done to the squad for a successful but testing game.

All other team’s game were cancelled due to the weather.
