The Bears made the short trip down to Forrester RFC to play their 2nds. An earlier kick off time of 1pm was to ensure both Forrester Teams got to play on their new pitch beside their fine club house.
As with many XV Bears games, an early score put the visitors in front, but as with many XV Bears games, they took the foot off the pedal and started to play disjointed and un-coordinated.
With a tough talk from Andy Knight and constant encouragement from David Barr running the side line, the Bears showed an improved performance in the 2nd half.
Forrester running some strong hard lines cut the Bear’s back line apart, but some good interplay from the forwards and an excellent game by Stuart Currie saw the XV Bears win 31-14.
