Boroughmuir u16s and u18s held a joint end of season dinner on Friday 27th May, to reflect on the season past, say goodbye to the older players leaving the u18s and to welcome the u16s coming up to join the Colts next season.
We said farewell to Andy Middlemiss who is retiring from coaching, having worked with our u16s from primary 5 onwards.
Award winners for the u16s were:
- Lee Fraser (Most Improved Player)
- Finlay Devine (Players Player)
- Neil Colvin (Most Valued Player)
The Award winners for the u18s:
- Callum McDevitt (Most Improved Player)
- Struan Maidment (Most Valued Player)
A special Highest Achiever award was made to Jacob Beckmann, the u18s captain.
Thanks to MacKenzies catering for the excellent dinner, Ross Young for all his hard work every season, all the parents and players who attended and to our coaches and volunteers who give up so much time during the season and beyond.
Special thanks to Graham Hepburn for acting as our MC and Andy Knight, our guest speaker, both keeping us well entertained during the evening.
