It is just about back to a full suite of club rugby this weekend with Muir Teams playing both home and away.
The Boroughmuir Bears take lead honours for the club this weekend as they travel to face Peebles 2nd XV in this crunch league game. The Bears with 2 games in hand are 8 points behind leaders Kelso 2nd XV, meaning each game is a must win including the Bears vs Kelso on the 5th of March.
Like each of the senior teams, the Bears play an integral part to the development of young players coming up from the Youth Section into Senior Rugby. Competing and winning the 2nd XV league on a regular basis, the Bears enjoy the commitment towards their training, desire to win and sharing the team values Boroughmuir Rugby is famous for.
The Boroughmuir Colts are playing Biggar Colts away with a 1pm kick off this coming Saturday (20th). Its an Edinburgh Shield group match and their third attempted date for this fixture! Good luck guys!
With Premiership security for next season, Boroughmuir Rugby will not be taking the foot of the gas, even at this stage of the season. The desire to finish as high up the table as possible will drive the team this weekend against Glasgow Hawks.
The Hawks need this win and another result to go their way to break the top 4. This will be a great game to watch.
